A little background, I am only running 6psi and I have the upgraded fuel pump, and all sorts of other stuff to prep for more boost. No cartech or Injectors, YET
SOON.
Ok, install was easy as hell, especially doing it by the ECU like Rafe did. I double checked the JR instructions against my Helms manual and it was all pretty good. Only one difference which is actually an error in the Helms, the blue wire from the JR unit goes to a blue wire on the harnes, not a blue/green as stated in the instructions. It is blue all the way from the distributor to the ECU.
So I start the car with everything in disarray and make sure it starts, it runs fine. I button it all up and I start it again, I throw a code, I was like shit
WTF, what happened now. So I check the code and it is 4, for the Crank Postion Sensor. I thought, hmm must have pulled the plug out of the ECU, maybe the wire broke (not likelybut who the hell knew). So I take everything apart and look at how I ground the unit, and noticed I had got some of the insulation under the nut the second time i mounted it, well that meant it wasnt grounding the unit, and was sucking power from the sensor. So I rebutton everything up and woo hoo all is well, fully grounded this time. So now it is time to go for a test drive.
So the first ride was before I increased timing, so I was just playing to see if it worked, it did, i turned it all the way up, and sluggish would be an understatement. So now I up the timing, back to stock (felt weird considering what I know about the Kit and how we are supposed to run so low). I was able to turn it really low, but I wont do too much till I get my J&S back from them. I am hoping today
Since I needed it this weekend for racing and would really like to tune the BTC as well.
Well I recommend the BTC for even 6psi, it gives back off boost power, I can lug around and it doesnt feel sluggish or completely over retarded. I think it will really come into its own with the Endyn Stepper Pulley though, and for the price is really a better option then a 6BTm or something like that.

SteveW,
As Raffe has pointed out, the IGM wire is blue all the way on 97 and up Integras but will change from blue to blue/green at the ECU for 94-96 model Integra.

Uh, one problem with that, the helms does not say that, and as far as I knew, when I talked to Rafe he was as surprised as me to see the colors wrong. The JR instructions also labeled this incorrectly. Not like it was a huge problem, just a heads up for those people on here who I am sure will get confused by it. The rest of you who have a whole brain and can complete this easily will have figured it out on your own.

Steve, what year is your Integra? Mine is a '95 GSR. I just installed that BTC a few hours ago. There is a blue/green wire at the ECU.

Steve, did you hear knock when the knob is adjusted too low? I adjusted mine to 0 (no retarding at all) and timing is set at 16 BTDC...no ping...what the hell??? I guess I don't need the damn BTC to be running at 16 BTDC after all
My timing before the BTC is 12 BTDC and no ping..I didn't dare going below this (although it is totally possible as now) since I don't have a J&S.

I replied to the other post about this, check out my unintelligable late night response. I will have more info after I get my J&S back.
